DSS Celebrates World Skin Health Day 2024

World Skin Health Day (WSHD) is a global initiative by the International League of Dermatological Societies and the International Society of Dermatology that occurs on 8 July with the purpose of educating people about the significance of skin health and encouraging discussion and actions that work towards improving skin health.

DSS commemorated WSHD this year by organising a public forum on Saturday, 6 July at Toa Payoh West Community Club, in collaboration with People’s Association. Based on the theme of Healthy Skin, Healthy You!, dermatologists from various institutions and private practices came together to share skin disease information and skin care advice to the audience. Topics included skin problems in childhood, pigmentation, skin cancers and hair issues. Participants had an opportunity to engage our experts and address their concerns.
