ASM Welcome Message

Dear friends and colleagues,

On behalf of the DSS Exco, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 37th Annual Scientific Meeting, held at One Farrer Hotel.

This year’s theme, “Dermatology at the Frontline”, underscores the pivotal role dermatologists play in an increasingly interconnected world. Our scientific programme addresses contemporary challenges in dermatology, with a particular focus on cutaneous infections, therapeutic pearls, and evidence-based approaches that directly impact daily clinical practice.

We are delighted to present a strong line-up of distinguished international and local speakers, including experts from other subspecialties such as Infectious Diseases, Plastic Surgery and Oculoplastics.

In particular, we are honoured to welcome Professor Rie Yotsu (USA), an internationally renowned expert in cutaneous infections and neglected tropical diseases. She is also a pioneer in advancing innovation and collaboration in global dermatology, and in nurturing a growing community of future “change-makers”.

We are also pleased to welcome our Indonesian colleagues. Dr Hanny Nilasari, President of the Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology, will deliver an update on sexually transmitted diseases in 2026. Dr Srie Prihianti Gondokaryono, recipient of the 2025 ILDS International Leadership Award for her outstanding commitment to advancing global skin health, will share her insights in paediatric dermatology.

In addition, the programme features timely updates on severe cutaneous adverse reactions, hidradenitis suppurativa, as well as skin and eye rejuvenation.

Complementing the scientific programme, each day will begin with our popular high-yield review sessions for residents. Extended tea breaks and lunch hours have also been incorporated to allow more time for meaningful engagement with our pharmaceutical partners, whose valued support contributes significantly to the vibrancy of this conference experience.

ASM 2026 provides a valuable platform to learn, exchange ideas, and strengthen professional connections. We hope this meeting will be both intellectually stimulating and personally rewarding.
